We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join us.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Business Intelligence Team at Zotec, you will play a key role in transforming healthcare operations through innovative, data-driven technology. As a Senior Software Engineer on the Business Intelligence Team at Zotec, you will play a key role in transforming healthcare operations through innovative, data-driven technology. You will lead the development of intelligent solutions that streamline billing processes, enhance data accuracy, and drive operational efficiency. This role is perfect if you're passionate about building scalable systems that turn complex data into actionable insights. We're seeking web development professionals with:
- Proficiency In:
- Frontend frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue
- Backend language like Python, C#, or Java
- TypeScript/JavaScript
- Modern HTML/CSS
- System design
- Familiarity with:
- AWS
- Terraform and/or CDK
- SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL
- Docker
- Experience in:
- Developing responsive, mobile-first web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks
- Component-driven development and design systems to promote consistency, scalability, and maintainability
- Frontend performance optimization techniques
- Working with RESTful and GraphQL APIs to consume and display backend data efficiently and securely
- You can communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and other engineers
- You enjoy balancing technical depth with practical problem-solving, knowing when to prioritize performance, scalability, or user experience
- You are committed to writing clean, maintainable code and mentoring others through code reviews, documentation, and collaboration
- You enjoy collaborating closely with a supportive team to tackle complex technical challenges from start to finish
- You understand the importance of quality standards, processes, compliance and security as it relates to the healthcare industry and have general knowledge of standards such as HIPAA or PCI
What you'll do:
- Work with product owners and business stakeholders to define and develop world-class product solutions
- Harness data to provide insights and make healthcare billing easier to understand
- Collaborate with other engineers to learn and share knowledge of modern development techniques
- Innovate by proposing novel approaches leveraging the latest frontend technologies
- Flourish as a leader in a tech-driven environment alongside like-minded professionals
Other ways you can contribute:
- Help us continue to expand our usage of cloud technologies with your experience in AWS, Azure and/or GCP
- Utilize your experience in CI/CD and IaC with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and/or CDK to help us further improve our development tools and processes for more rapid, repeatable development
- Follow the appropriate development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
